Monitoring @@&name@@

Monitoring of a measurement reading for a tolerance band. The set point is variable. Separate hystereses and delay periods are used for the exceedance and shortfall.

After enabling of the function, the start delay takes place. After it's complete, the actual value is monitored for the limit values "Sollwert + Hysterese Überschreitung" and "Sollwert - Hysterese Unterschreitung".

If the respective actual value lies constantly below or above the calculated limit values, the corresponding signal is generated. If the actual value goes again over the tolerance range, the signals are automatically reset again.

In order to prevent the deliberate issue of a limit value violation in case of set point leaps (e.g. in heater loops day/night switching), a set point change hysteresis can be set. If the set point abruptly changes to more than this value (positive or negative), an automatic re-start delay is computed. This is calculated from the actual set point change and the delay per 1 set point change. Example: Old limit value 45 °C, new limit value 55 °C, delay per 1 limit value change 300.0 seconds.

Re-start delay = (55°C-45°C) * 300.0 seconds = 3000.0 seconds = 50 minutes
