Why can the status not be changed?

There are different status (p.e off/on/auto) it is possible to scroll, otherwise when pressing enter the status always jumps back to "off"
The problem is, that you can choose a object format or a object status. If you have chosen a format before and then you choose a status afterwards the format has to be set back to "none". Otherwise it will never work properly.
