Why is the message: "module type" displayed in the master box?

FAQ #100600

If a software box is placed to communicate with a wrong actuator type, the message "module type" appears into the master box.

Problem

If a software box is placed to communicate with a wrong actuator type, the message "module type" into the master box appears.

Reason

Each physically MP-bus member needs the correct software interface. Different functional Belimo actuators have also their specified F-Box type. To communicate for example with a valve actuator the functional box "Linear" has to be used. The description of all module types can be found into the help text of the MP-boxes.

Solution

Exchange the wrong F-Box type with the suitable module type. The explanation of all module types can be found into the “info” of each MP-Fboxes
