Connecting an external modem to the PCD3

FAQ #100843

How is the wiring for an external modem like Q.M716-KS1, Q.T726-RS1 or Q.G736-AS2?

PCD3.M5xxx or PCD3.M6xxx on PGU Port 0

If the modem is connected to the PGU Port 0, a straight cable as from PC to modem can be used. In the Hardware Settings, the "Full RS 232 handshaking on port 0" has to be activated when using the modem for program download.
