Frost monitoring @@&name@@

Frost protection monitoring of the preheater for ventilation systems with downstream thermostat and upstream return temperature sensor. The frost programme takes place as follows:

1. Determination of a frost warning through downstream frost protection thermostat or return temperature of lower limit value of frost warning in return temperature lower than °C.

2. Signal of the respective frost warning, signals that frost programme is active.

3. After the 1st warning delay is over, an impulse for hardware acknowledgement can be triggered to check whether the downstream frost protection goes back to lock.

4a. If, after the hardware acknowledgement, the return temperature is greater than the normal signal limit value with return temperature greater than °C and the frost protection thermostat in normal position, the frost programme goes back to normal status and a monitoring time delay for the 2nd warning is started. If a frost warning appears again within this period, the signal 'danger of frost at air heater' is set. The error should be reset by the central acknowledgement.

4b. If the return temperature after the hardware acknowledgement is still not above the limit value of normal signal with return temperature greater than °C or the frost protection thermostat is still in alarm position, the signal 'danger of frost at air heater' is set. The error should be reset by the central acknowledgement.

To prevent ghost signals in case of a fuse failure, a rejection of signal can take place depending on the associated voltage monitoring.
