Why do I get a "DUART HW ERROR" on PCD2.M150 after restart?

FAQ #101395

Communication on port 3 (PCD2.F520) during startup can lead to a DUART HW ERROR on the PCD2.M150

Problem
If there is a communicatin running on port 3 during startup (e.g. an OPC server which is polling data from the PCD), it can happen that the PCD goes in HALT with a DUART HW ERROR on startup.

Reason
Due to a firmware problem, the communication on port 3 can cause problems during the startup procedure.

Solution
The problem was corrected in FW 0F1 or later for the PCD2.M150. If you are concerned contact your support for the bugfix firmware. Note that the problem only occurs on startup.
